Apps are among the latest innovations available to both business owners and individuals. There are a number of apps that are business specific; for example, Google Apps, which have a great deal to offer.

There is the Google Apps suite, which can be accessed from the Google home page. This includes useful features such as Gmail, the Google Calendar and Google Docs. This is a cloud-based office suite and using apps such as these means that all staff members can log on and access the same data. Businesses that opt to use this system will find it is cost effective and there are an unlimited number of users who are able to access it. Making use of the office documents suite can save a great deal of money in the long-term, as it removes the need to purchase numerous software licenses.

One of the Google Apps that can be invaluable for businesses is Google Calendar. When attempting to schedule meetings it can be difficult to co-ordinate various members of staff, but this is calendar that can be used by a team of people, so they all know where they are due to be at any one time.

In addition to these apps, there are plenty of others that can be accessed via the Google Apps Marketplace site. Some of them are free to use and have been created by third parties. They are designed to work alongside Google Apps and cover areas such as payroll, managing customer relations and other appointments systems. The accessibility of these apps has made almost essential to many businesses and they are an ideal way to co-ordinate staff and projects.
